Guest speakers from the professional design community are a major component of the DICE curriculum, providing students with a glimpse into the many possibilties of design and the continued overlap between the various disciplines.
This semester, Mark Goetz walked students through a career in industrial design that includes nearly 100 chairs currently in production as well as a range of experimental projects that engage public spaces. Product designer Mark Craig demonstrated the process behind designing a new line of sunglasses for companies such as Nike.
